Soup is back! Book your ticket to come along on the night. 6th July, 6pm – 9pm

what happens at a soup event?

People attend the event and pay a suggested donation of £5 for a meal of soup, salad and bread.

4 pre-selected projects have 4 minutes to share their idea and answer 4 questions from the audience

The projects can be about ANYTHING (no restrictions)

The audience votes for their favourite.

The project with the most votes goes home with the proceeds taken on the door to help get their project off the ground.

can i pitch at soup?

SOUP! is a great way to raise money, tell people about your work, build community support and get connections to local resources that can help you carry out your project.

All individuals, clubs and organisations, schools, social enterprises, CIC’s, not-for profit organisations and charities can apply to pitch.

There are only 2 rules:

1. The idea must be primarily for community benefit in Salisbury or the immediate district.

2. Presenters cannot use technology to present their ideas.

A worldwide initiative

The concept started in Detroit, now Soup events are popping up all over the world. Read more about the evolution here.

Soup is a community seed-funding dinner that is built to connect people and empower individuals who are thinking creatively about their community; solving problems and creating opportunities.

last time at Salisbury soup…

Salisbury’s first SOUP event took place on 13th November 2019. It was a great community spirited evening, where 4 fantastic projects had the chance to share what they are doing to benefit our local community.

‘Muddy Boots’ a community gardening project run by Foragers Farm were the winners of the people’s vote and went away with £320 to spend on their project.

Thanks to The Pantry Partnership who provided the catering and volunteers to support the event.

Our next Salisbury Soup is on 6th July at 6pm.
